Having reflected on the events of the past 24 hours, it was with great sadness that we learnt of the passing of Her Majesty, our Queen, Elizabeth II.
Having reigned over Great Britain and the Commonwealth for over 70 years (her Platinum Jubilee taking place earlier this year), she was a beacon of all that makes our country great and so we remember her for all the great work she did for our country and many other countries around the world.
May she rest in peace.
