April 2024 Newsletter

Hello and welcome to our latest edition of our e-newsletter which we hope you enjoy.

What we are certain that you will enjoy, now that spring has finally arrived, is the blooming flowers, sunshine and brighter evenings that we have all been eagerly awaiting.

Aside from the flowers, sunshine and brighter evenings another indication that spring has finally sprung is when we get to enjoy some annual fixtures in the calendar.

This month we have had St George’s Day, the Grand National and the London Marathon to name a few.

April also saw us mark several awareness drives including National Pet Month which was an opportunity to celebrate, in my case, two four-legged friends (in fact friends really doesn’t do them justice – they’re family), our dogs Coco and Meg – I hope you enjoyed this month with your pet whatever it is!

Onto this edition of the newsletter and as ever we start with our market commentary for the month. We follow that with articles on when industry experts and analysts think the interest rates will come down and why Brits are becoming more confident about their financial situation – the first article may go some way to explaining the second!

We follow that with another positive story of how many more of us Brits are embracing the entrepreneurial spirit and finally we take a look at the debate as to whether you would, or should, lend money to a loved one.

In ML News we provide the first update, hopefully of many over the next year or so, of our plans for our new office in Wymondham which as you may remember is not too far away from where we are now. We also bring you news of achievements and successes from members of the ML team.

As always, if you have any concerns or questions we’re here and happy to help so please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Kind regards

Simon Lister
Director & Independent Financial Planner
