June 2025 Newsletter

Hello and a warm welcome to the June 2025 edition of our e-newsletter.

At long last, after grey skies and plenty of rain, we have some warmer, drier weather which I hope you are enjoying into the longer, lighter nights.

With the better weather, and as we step into the heart of summer, June brings with it a moment to reflect and refocus.

Around the world, markets continue to respond to shifting economic signals. From ongoing discussions around interest rates and inflation to the evolving geopolitical landscape in the lead up to major elections.

Closer to home, the UK economy shows signs of cautious optimism, with consumer sentiment gradually improving and financial planning remaining as important as ever.

From Westminster to Wall Street, analysts and investors alike are keeping a close eye on new fiscal data and market activity. Shifts in consumer behaviour, global supply chain dynamics and interest rate commentary continue to reshape short and long-term expectations and the month of June presents an ideal window to assess progress toward annual objectives. Whether you’re optimising financial plans, refining portfolios or re-evaluating goals in light of the year’s first-half performance we are here to help and assist you.

In this month’s edition we look at the Government’s wide ranging pension reforms, the Government spending review that took place earlier this month and whether that matters to you finances and finally we look at intergenerational financial planning for families.

Outside the world of finance, June is also a time of renewal. The longer days and brighter skies encourage us all to find balance – not just in portfolios, but also in our personal lives, so we encourage you to take time out to focus on this aspect of your life too!

Financial wellbeing and personal wellbeing are deeply connected. Whether it’s taking a moment to review your goals, planning for the future with greater clarity, or simply finding peace of mind in uncertain times – your financial journey should support the life you want to lead.

We’re here to guide you through it.

Kind regards
